born from
the fusion and cooperation
of three separate
firms, Bernardi Willi, Bernardi Hermann and Bejo
(Bernardi
Josef), active
over the last
40 years in the
woodcarvings
business.
Since
its foundation, the Gardena Art Association has striven
to reinforce the image of Val Gardena woodcarving in order
to promote the worldwide marketing of this considerable
cultural asset.
The Gardena Art brand was
created to certify the quality and origin of the woodcarvings,
which are in fact produced 100% in the Gardena Valley,
as provided by the Association Statute.
